My Review
What a wonderful story, I always love reading books by Jenny Hale and this was no exception. When Liz returns home for Christmas after 7 years in New York, she is unsure what she will find after the loss of her Nan earlier in the year.
When Liz meets up with Naomi her childhood friend, we start to see glimpses of who Liz was before she became Elizabeth in New York. I was swept up in this story straight away as we revisit traditions including the letters her Nan used to write to friends and family to go with her cookies each year.
I loved the way the plot evolved and loved this story from beginning to end. What beats a Christmas story, based on a farm surrounded by snow and Christmas traditions with a sprinkling of romance.
