Today I am delighted to be helping close the blog tour for Spring Tides at the Starfish Cafe by Jessica Redland

My Review

I absolutely loved my trip to the Starfish Cafe and the opportunity to visit Hollie & Jake again. I am a massive fan of Jessica Redland and will always reach for one of her books when I fancy a light hearted story that tugs at the heart strings.

In this story we spent more time with Jake & Hollie and got to see how their relationship was progressing. We also got to spend time with Vic and learn more about her previous heartbreak as she strikes up an unlikely friendship with Bart after meeting him on the lifeboat.

A story rich in heartbreak and betrayal whilst demonstrating courage and fear amongst the loss, This story covered every conceivable emotion as Hollie has to make tough decisions when pushed into a corner and decide what is the future of Starfish Cafe and what does she want for her future.

I already can’t wait for the next one as I love the location of these books and Hollie & Jake make amazing lead characters.

Book Blurb

Welcome back to the Starfish CafĂ© – where you will find stunning views, delicious food and lifelong friendships.

A new season…

As winter turns to spring, Hollie – owner of The Starfish CafĂ© – is feeling content as she settles into her new life with her loving boyfriend, Jake, and their adorable dog Pickle.

But when an unwelcome visitor threatens the future of her cafĂ©, Hollie must stay strong to protect her family’s legacy…

A leap of faith

Emerging from an unhappy relationship, Tori finds herself with nowhere to stay and nobody to talk to. The long-hidden secrets of her past weigh heavily on her until a chance encounter with Finley, struggling to come to terms with his own secrets, provides an opportunity to open up.

Can she find the strength to stop hiding from her past and face up to her family? Especially when that would mean letting her guard down and learning to trust again…

A fresh start…?

Little do Hollie and Tori know that their lives are about to collide at The Starfish CafĂ© and they may be able to help each other with a fresh start. After all, with good friends in your life, nothing is impossible…

I am a total bookworm who loves nothing more than to lose herself in a book. My pile of books to read is teetering higher and higher as there are not enough hours in the day compared to how many old and new amazing books there are out there to read. I love to read in my spare time and books are a massive part of our household. I feel really lucky that Daisy also loves losing herself in the amazing worlds the authors are creating for us and neither of us ever go very far without having a book to hand as you never know when an opportunity to read may present itself.
