My 2nd Festive Review of the Day is for the festive delight – My Lucky Night by Olivia Spring

My Review

This afternoon I am delighted to share my review for the novella My Lucky Night by the lovely Olivia Spring, this story joins Cassie as she takes an unexpected trip around the festive sights of London with the rather gorgeous Nicolas.

I loved the setting for this story and how Nicolas is first introduced into the story. As a family we love a trip to London at Christmas, so that we can experience the magic of the lights and the various festive delights. From ice skating to mulled wine there is something festive for everyone amongst this delightful story and I could have just kept reading as she teased my taste buds and reminded me of all the festive fun that we can have in our wonderful capital. I would have loved to have kept reading as I was enjoying the story and the sparks that started to fly between them both.

The perfect festive read for any romcom lover, within the first few pages it had my full attention and it was a great fun read to enjoy in the lead up to Christmas.

Romance Can Happen When You Least Expect It…

She hates Christmas. He’s about to change her mind…

Cassie isn’t a fan of Christmas. After a string of unlucky incidents during the festive season—including getting dumped—this year she decides to spend the day at home. Alone. No men. No complications.

But then her nightmare boss demands she track down this year’s most coveted Christmas gift—and the only person who can help is an annoyingly sexy Frenchman she’s just met.

Nicolas might look hot, but Cassie can tell he’s also arrogant, irritating and in love with himself. Exactly the kind of guy she hates. Plus, he’ll only help her find the gift if she helps him with something in return…

Could Cassie’s festive fortunes finally be about to change? Can she learn to love Christmas again? And will Cassie get lucky in more ways than one?

Set against a gorgeous London backdrop with sparkling lights, Christmas markets and mistletoe, My Lucky Night is a fun, sexy enemies-to-lovers romcom novella that will give you all the feels! Ideal for fans of Sophie Kinsella and Mhairi McFarlane.

Read as a standalone novella or as book two in the My Ten-Year Crush series.

I am a total bookworm who loves nothing more than to lose herself in a book. My pile of books to read is teetering higher and higher as there are not enough hours in the day compared to how many old and new amazing books there are out there to read. I love to read in my spare time and books are a massive part of our household. I feel really lucky that Daisy also loves losing herself in the amazing worlds the authors are creating for us and neither of us ever go very far without having a book to hand as you never know when an opportunity to read may present itself.
