My Review
Will They Won’t They? is a story about Emmy as she returns home after the unexpected loss of her Grandfather after moving to London to pursue her acting career.
With a well timed break in her career that no-one is aware of and her committing to buy her Grandfather’s house to ensure that they keep it in the family, Emmy has a lot of questions to answer and things to work out. In addition she is then drawn into helping save the local theatre which holds fond memories from childhood, whilst muddling through her feelings on how much her life has changed in recent weeks and working out what to do with the house she has purchased once the renovations are complete.
From the opening page Emmy is a really likeable character who does all she can for those around her to make life easier and make them happy. She has left a job that she thought she loved and now isn’t so sure and is home focusing on how to keep her Mum’s spirits up, despite feeling that she no longer fits in as she has missed so many family occasions due to work. I like the fact that there are three potential prince charmings for our very own Cinderella and this keeps the story light hearted and entertaining throughout, especially with the rocky start that Emmy has with a couple of her potential suitors.
This story was filled with will they, won’t they scenarios and kept me entertained from the offset.
