My Review
After discovering the joy of Jessica Redland’s books, she has quickly become one of my favourite authors and this book stole my heart and took me on a wonderful journey.
In this story we meet Jake & Hollie who have both suffered major loss and trauma in their lives. Hollie has the sweetest nature and within a few pages you can just see how lovely she is and I was excited to get to know her and learn why the Starfish Cafe was so important to her.
Starfish Cafe is located in a lovely seaside setting with the RNLI playing a major part in the story. After growing up by the sea and being taught to respect it at a young age, this book appealed on so many levels and contained a selection of wonderful and inspiring characters that will keep you eagerly turning the pages.
I flew through this book, laughing and crying as I read and experienced the highs and lows of these wonderful characters as their paths cross and they feel their way into a new friendship.
A wonderful story to kickstart my festive reads this year, I instantly missed Jake & Hollie when I finished this book and would love to visit them in another story in the future to see how they have continued to develop and grow.

Welcome to The Starfish Café – where you will find stunning views, delicious food and lifelong friendships.
Two broken hearts.
Since she inherited The Starfish Café, Hollie has poured her heart into the business, striving to keep her mother’s traditions and warm-hearted spirit alive. But behind closed doors Hollie is searching for true happiness, as she grieves the tragic loss of her family who were once the beating heart of the café…
An unexpected meeting.
Jake lives by two rules: don’t let anyone get close and don’t talk about what happened. Little does he know that a chance meeting at The Starfish Café, facilitated by a fluffy lost dog, is about to turn his world upside down…
The chance to love again.
Can Hollie and Jake break down the barriers that have been holding them back from finding love and happiness, before Christmas comes around? Afterall, with courage, nothing is impossible…

Thank you so much for taking part in the blog tour for Snowflakes Over The Starfish Cafe, Kel, and for your gorgeous review. I’m so delighted Hollie and Jake’s stories touched you and lingered with you after you’d finished the story. The great news is there’s more to come from The Starfish Cafe. A sequel – Summer Nights at The Starfish Cafe – will be out on 5th April next year and there may well be a third book the following year. Thanks again for your kind words x
