Today I am delighted to join the blog tour for one of my favourite authors Amanda Prowse, I absolutely loved meeting Molly in this wonderful story and can’t wait to share my review with you.

My Review
Well what isn’t there to love about this story, I always eagely await a release by Amanda Prowse and couldn’t wait to get stuck to An Ordinary Life. As always Amanda weaves a wonderful story from the offset with characters that are relatable and jump off of the pages.
Molly is a wonderful female lead in this story and we meet Molly towards the end of World War II as a young lady working to support her family. Throughout this story we jump between her memories and present day as we discover how her decisions have influenced her life and she reflects to see if she would have done anything differently given the choice.
I loved this story, it was aptly named as all Molly was ever aiming for was an ordinary life. This story delves into loss, love and how women had far less choices in the years following the war than we do now.
Once again Amanda Prowse has delivered a wonderful story that pulls you in and leaves you frantically turning the pages to see what comes next. I loved this step into historical fiction set during one of my favourite time periods, another massive 5* from me – I loved it from start to finish.
Book Blurb
From the bestselling author of The Girl in the Corner comes a tale of love, loss—and one last extraordinary dance.

Life becomes brighter when she meets and falls in love with a man who makes her forget everything with one dance. Now, lying in her hospital bed, Molly can’t escape the memories of what she lost all those years ago. But she is not as alone as she thinks.
Will she be able to find peace—and finally understand that what seemed to be an ordinary life was anything but?
