I am so excited to share my review for the wonderful 5* read – New Arrivals at Hedgehog Hollow by Jessica Redland

Today I am very excited to be sharing my review for the wonderful read New Arrivals at Hedgehog Hollow.

After reading a book by Jessica Redland for a blog tour last year, I jumped at the chance to read the next in the series of Hedgehog Hollow as this is a series that I adore.

Growing up we always had hedgehogs in the garden and even where we are now I see them wandering around at dusk, reading this book transports me back to being a child and the excitement I felt when we caught a glimpse of a hedgehog in the garden. This series is a true masterpiece it is full of love and forgiveness as well as being a hive of information about hedgehogs.

I picked up this book just a couple of days ago and I flew through it as Sammie & Josh are such great characters it’s like the book is constantly calling for me to pick it up and keep reading. I love the books that leave you missing them as you weren’t ready to finish them and this story is definitely one of those. I really hope there is more to come fr Hedgehog Hollow as I’m loving my time on the farm.

I am a total bookworm who loves nothing more than to lose herself in a book. My pile of books to read is teetering higher and higher as there are not enough hours in the day compared to how many old and new amazing books there are out there to read. I love to read in my spare time and books are a massive part of our household. I feel really lucky that Daisy also loves losing herself in the amazing worlds the authors are creating for us and neither of us ever go very far without having a book to hand as you never know when an opportunity to read may present itself.

  1. Thank you so much for this gorgeous review, Kel. I loved reading about your memories of hedgehogs and that my books transport you back to childhood. I think you’re right that the magic never goes of spotting them in the wild. They’re just so adorable. I love the idea of not wanting to let go of the book and I have great news for you: there’s definitely more to come. Family Secrets at Hedgehog Hollow is out on 4th May so probably available on NetGalley around March time. I’ve also agreed a book 4 for Jan 2022. Thanks again x
