Today I am jumping on the blog tour for The Cottage of New Beginnings by Suzanne Snow

I was really excited when Rachel emailed me offering me a slot on this blog tour as I love trying a new author and the blurb sounded right up my street.

My Review

What a delight this story is to read, the Thorndale is the perfect place to escape too in the crazy world we are currently living in. A village that has been vividly described, it made me long for summer and I immediately fell in love with Thorndale it’s wonderful inhabitants.

I loved meeting Annie who has moved back to Thorndale after inheriting a cottage from her godmother. She is a character that I quickly came to like and as we met more characters in the story I was keen to keep reading to see if Annie and Jon would find romance after their rocky start.

I am a massive lover of a light hearted read and am already excited to read the next book in the series and get to know more about these characters and revisit Thorndale.

Book Blurb

One crumbling cottage. One broken heart. A chance to start over?

When Annie returns to Thorndale, the village where she spent much of her childhood, she’s looking for a new start. All she wants to do is fix up the cottage her godmother left her, and fix up her broken heart.

When she clashes with local hero, Jon, Annie can’t help but wonder if coming back to Thorndale was a mistake. The village has clearly changed and the last thing she needs is more drama. But avoiding the distractingly handsome Jon is proving impossible, especially when Thorndale seems to be conspiring to throw them together…

Annie is looking for a fresh start with zero romance – but what if the only way to learn to trust again is to take a risk on love?

Meet the Author

Suzanne writes contemporary, romantic and uplifting fiction with a strong sense of setting and community connecting the lives of her characters. When she’s not writing or spending time with her family, she can usually be found in a garden or looking to the landscape around her for inspiration.

Daisy & Kel x

I am a total bookworm who loves nothing more than to lose herself in a book. My pile of books to read is teetering higher and higher as there are not enough hours in the day compared to how many old and new amazing books there are out there to read. I love to read in my spare time and books are a massive part of our household. I feel really lucky that Daisy also loves losing herself in the amazing worlds the authors are creating for us and neither of us ever go very far without having a book to hand as you never know when an opportunity to read may present itself.
