Today is my stop on the blog tour for A French Affair by Jennifer Bohnet and what better way is there than to spend a Sunday relaxing whilst enjoying a wonderful trip to France.
My Review
I love it when you see an author you love pop up in your inbox with a new blog tour and I couldn’t wait to get a copy of the book so I could start reading.
A truly wonderful 5* read that immediately captured me, I loved meeting Belinda and following her story as she goes to Brittany to help turn a campsite around. Last year I visited a gorgeous campsite in rural France and this story reminded me of our visit and how much fun we had creating memories.
A stunning location that I instantly fell in love with and loved the descriptions of how run down the campsite had become and the plans to modernise it. Early in the story we met Alain and he played a key role in this story with his gruff personality and loyalty to the campsite.
A story rich in wonderful characters that all bring something different to the table and who you want to keep reading about as you have become invested in their happiness. I shed a few tears during this story as there were some emotional highs and lows throughout.
Set against the back drop of a wonderful location with a whole cast of amazing characters there wasn’t anything I didn’t love about this story!
