What better way to kick off the week than with a book that I loved cover to cover. Today I am sharing my review for The Saturday Morning Park Run by Jules Wake #rachelsrandomresources #blogtour #backablogger @rararesources @juleswake

Happy Monday everyone!! I am kicking off the week with my review for The Saturday Morning Park Run.

My Review

A lovely read that took me on a wonderful journey. Claire reminded me of how I felt 5 years ago when work began to overrun my life and my health. I think this made the journey more heartfelt as I kept reading, as I could really connect with the character.

Jules Wake created characters that resonated, the experiences were relatable and I loved the way they were described so you could visualise as you kept reading. I personally have a soft spot for our older generation so instantly fell in love with the formidable Hilda and would adore her as a friend to sit and have coffee and cake with.

There is nothing not to love about this book it breathes love and how it’s never too late to make changes to your priorities. I loved it from start to finish, a total breath of fresh air with a touch of romance sprinkled throughout.

Book Blurb

This is the story of two women.

One old, one young.

One looking for new adventures. One looking for a purpose.

Both needing a friend.

And this is how, along with two little girls in need of a family, a gorgeous stranger, and a scruffy dog, they bring the whole community together every Saturday morning for love, laughter and a little bit of running…(well, power walking).

Some people come into your life when you need them the most.

I am a total bookworm who loves nothing more than to lose herself in a book. My pile of books to read is teetering higher and higher as there are not enough hours in the day compared to how many old and new amazing books there are out there to read. I love to read in my spare time and books are a massive part of our household. I feel really lucky that Daisy also loves losing herself in the amazing worlds the authors are creating for us and neither of us ever go very far without having a book to hand as you never know when an opportunity to read may present itself.
