Next up today is my review for the latest release by Victoria Cooke – Sun, Sea and Sangria #blogtour #review #sunseasangria #rachelsrandomresources @rararesources @Victoriacooke10

Next up today I am very excited to share my review for Sun, Sea and Sangria from an author who always makes me smile when reading her books.

My Review

I am a massive fan of Victoria Cooke and loved being swept away to the Canary Islands in this summer read.

Kat was a wonderful character who you could empathise with and also get frustrated with as she couldn’t make up her mind what she wanted or trust her feelings after the end of her marriage. She fled to Tenerife 8 years before and built up a business managing the Heavenly Hunks.

I loved the Heavenly Hunks and the story is a perfect romcom about the escapades they get up to as they travel round the Canary Islands performing at hotels and driving the mainly female audiences wild.

A story with a great blend of real life issues, fun in the sun and a touch of romance scattered throughout. A brilliant summer read that will have you reaching for the jug of Sangria as you visit the sunny shores and get to know Kat and her wonderful boys.

Book Blurb

Kat swore off dating many years ago, after her marriage ended in a catastrophic mess. Having moved to the Canary Islands for a fresh start, she has never had much time for romance, channelling all her energy into managing all-male dance troupe – the Heavenly Hunks.

With golden beaches, sparkling blue water and relaxing after work with a glass of sangria – or three – for Kat, it’s summer all year round. But despite life being postcard perfect, Kat can’t help but wonder if she is missing out on the most important thing of all… love.

The dancers are all well-known for their flirtatious antics and aren’t looking for anything serious… except Jay. Sitting by the pool, watching the sun reflecting in the water, Kat feels like she can tell him anything.

Handsome, caring and a good listener, he ignites a fire in Kat’s heart that scares her witless. But her relationship with Jay should stay strictly professional… right? There is absolutely no way that she can be his boss and his date.

As the temperature rises, will Kat be able to take the plunge, let go of her past and find romance in paradise?

First up today I am sharing my review for the wonderful 5* read – Finding Love at Hedgehog Hollow by Jessica Redland #blogtour #hedgehoghollow #rachelsrandomresources @rararesources @jessicaredland @boldwoodbooks

Today is my stop on the blog tour for Finding Love at Hedgehog Hollow, the title caught my attention and when I read the blurb I was really looking forward to reading it. Jessica Redland is a new author to me and I can’t wait to read more of her books as this book was simply wonderful.

My Review

I loved this book from the first few chapters, Sammie was a superb main character who always looked after those around her and tried her best to remain upbeat and positive.

Hedgehog Hollow is my absolute dream home, a farmhouse with barns and the description of the meadow made me fall in love with it instantly, for me it’s a perfect setting and I could instantly conjure it up in my imagination.

A gorgeous book about love and hope, that made me laugh, feel indignant and want to cry. Hedgehogs are wonderful animals and whilst reading I was transported back in time to memories of when I first saw them in my garden as a child.

This book was like a giant hug, I absolutely loved it and was so disappointed to be nearing the end that I wanted to stop reading as I felt connected to the characters and story and didn’t want it to end! This was my first book by Jessica Redland and I am delighted to have found a wonderful new author and am excited to read more of her books.
