#Review Today I am kicking off December with a superb festive read Wishes Under A Starlit Sky by Lucy Knott

I absolutely love this time of year! I love spending extra time with my gorgeous family and making the most of the cold winter evenings to enjoy some festive reads to help get me in the Christmas spirit!

So as I love this time of year so much in the lead up to Christmas I will share some reviews for my favourite 5* festive reads. Kicking off today with my review for one of my favourite festive reads from this year so far – Wishes Under a Starlit Sky by Lucy Knott.

I have loved reading Lucy’s previous books but I think this might be my favourite to date.

Set between London and the stunning snowy Colorado this book just oozes with festiveness and is a hug in a book.

The lovely Harper is in limbo after the unexpected end of her marriage and after a year of kicking her heels and hiding from the world, Madi decides it is time for her to take control of her life back.

This story has the most superb friendship between Harper & Madi and takes you on a wonderful journey as she rediscovers herself and learns that she has all the tools and friends she needs to love her life again.

A story brimming with positivity, containing gorgeous food as you would expect from Lucy, a stunning location and yoga under the stars – what is not to love! A superb book that I read into the early hours of the morning as I just had to know if Harper got her happy ending.

When life doesn’t go to plan, you can write yourself a new story…

From the outside, Harper Hayes looks like she is winning at life.

She has an amazing job as a script writer, a wonderful house, an awesome best friend and an incredible husband. Yes, life seems to be pretty, dare she say it? Perfect?

But life is about to throw more than one spanner in the works of Harper’s picture perfect existence and at the busiest time of the year too.

As Christmas approaches, Harper will have some soul searching to do to decide if there really is such thing as the happily-ever-after she writes about.

Lucy Knott is a former professional wrestler with a passion for storytelling. Now, instead of telling her stories in the ring, she’s putting pen to paper, fulfilling another lifelong dream in becoming an Author.

Inspired by her Italian Grandparents, when she is not writing you will most likely find her cooking, baking and devouring Italian food, in addition to learning Italian and daydreaming of trips to Italy.

Along with her twin sister, Kelly, Lucy runs TheBlossomTwins.com, where she enthusiastically shares her love for books, baking and Italy, with daily posts, reviews and recipes.

#Review Today I am sharing my review for the next instalment of the series – Coming Home to Merriment Bay – Part Three: Christmas by Emily Harvale

Coming home to Merriment Bay Part 3

Today I am excited to be joining the blog tour for Part Three of this lovely series which I am loving and can’t wait to read the Part Four!

I am loving this series by Emily Harvale and was eager to read this after reading part two. The characters are really jumping off of the pages now and I am keen to know what is going to happen in the tangle of emotions that Cat seems to have found herself in.

This is a lovely story about unconditional love and forgiveness whilst old emotional scars begin to heal and new relationships start to develop. I have found myself picking these books up as soon as they land on my kindle and devouring them within an afternoon. After reading this one I felt bereft as each story ends leaving you with a sense of anticipation and I am now desperate to read the final instalment of this series.

A great series, set in a lovely location with such lovely characters that you will feel the need to keep reading more.

Part Three of this heartwarming four-part serial about finding the strength to put the past behind you and to reach out for a future filled with happiness and love.

Cat and Kyra have finally traced the man in the photo they found in Viola’s trunk – thanks to Amias. But Bailey Mitchell lives thousands of miles away and is almost ninety-eight, so meeting him in person is never going to happen. Which is just as well. Exchanging Christmas cards and chatting on social media leads to revelations Cat had not expected.

At least Christmas is looking promising. It may be freezing outside but things have definitely thawed between Cat and her mum, Mary. They’re actually getting on, especially now that Mary is dating Jeremy Stone, the builder working on Viola’s house.

Cat’s also hopeful that Viola’s situation may improve. And when a surprise visitor brings more than just well wishes, Cat’s Christmas takes a delightful turn.

With the festivities in full swing, and snow falling on Merriment Bay, the future’s looking bright. Christmas is a time for miracles and Cat believes she may get one of her own this year if she’s prepared to put the past behind her and open her heart to Love once more.

When not writing, she can be found enjoying the stunning East Sussex coast and countryside, or in a wine bar with friends, discussing life, love and the latest TV shows. Chocolate cake is often eaten. She dislikes housework almost as much as she dislikes anchovies – and will do anything to avoid both. Emily has two mischievous rescue cats that like to sprawl across her keyboard, regardless of whether Emily is typing on it, or not.
