Today I am sharing my review for the brilliant One Summer in Santorini by Sandy Barker.
This summer read is set in the stunning Greek islands and immediately makes you want to book a flight to enjoy some sunshine. I was keen to escape the rain outside and keep reading about Sarah’s adventures.
I loved the characters and the growing friendship between Sarah and her crew mates as they get used to living in such close quarters. I fell in love with the vibrant descriptions of the islands they were visiting and all of the delicious Greek food they were eating throughout their trip.
A brilliant feel good read that will leave you feeling light hearted and yearning for some winter sunshine. I can’t wait to see what adventures lay ahead for Sarah and if she will make the planned trip for New Year.
Book Blurb
There was something in the air that night. . .
Sarah has had enough of men. It’s time to rekindle her first true love – travel – so she books a sailing trip around the Greek islands with a group of strangers.
The very last thing Sarah wants is to meet someone new, but then a gorgeous American man boards her yacht… And when she also encounters a handsome silver fox who promises her the world, she realises that trouble really does come in twos.
Will Sarah dive into a holiday fling or stick to her plan to steer clear of men, continue her love affair with feta and find her own way after all?

About the Author
I’m a writer, traveller and hopeful romantic with a lengthy bucket list. I love exploring new places, outdoor adventures, and eating and drinking like a local when I travel, and many of my travel adventures have found homes in my novels. I’m also an avid reader, a film buff, a wine lover and a coffee snob.
My first novel, a romantic comedy set in Greece and inspired by my real-life love story, was published in June 2019 by One More Chapter (HarperCollins). I’m currently editing my second and third books (the follow-ups to One Summer in Santorini) and writing my fourth and fifth. Excitingly, 2020 will see at least two new books out in the world!
