Four Christmases and a Secret

Today I am taking really excited to be taking part in the blog tour for Four Christmases and a Secret by Zara Stoneley.

OMG I absolutely loved this! Daisy is a character that I loved from the off, her rivalry and friendship with Ollie that has spurned since childhood and is reignited every Christmas as their parents compete over their achievements. Whilst Uncle T is the slightly eccentric Uncle everyone needs in their lives a beacon of light guiding the way and keeping everyone anchored together, with his annual Christmas eve parties.

This book is brimming with fantastic characters that you would love to attend a Christmas eve party with as they all bring a little something different to the lovely little bookshop each year. Daisy’s dog Stanley reminds me of my own dog, always on the hunt for food and cuddles.

I love Zara Stoneley’s books and I was really excited to hear that she had another book due for release before Christmas. Four Christmases and a Secret has just become my new favourite, it was a lovely story that draws you in and the last 40% flew by as I just had to keep reading as was loving how the story was unfolding. This was a book that I finished and then felt disappointed that I had read it so quickly as I had loved the characters so much. I love a festive read and this is a fab one to add to your pile to help you get in the Christmas spirit.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…

Except for Daisy Christmas means another of Uncle T’s dreaded Christmas parties, complete with Christmas jumper and flashing antlers.  And Oliver Cartwright.  Gorgeous Oliver Cartwright. Who she hates.

Every year Daisy has to face insufferable Ollie and hear all about how BRILLIANT he is.  Whereas Daisy has no job, no man and no idea how to fix things.

This Christmas however Daisy is determined things will be different.  There will be no snogging Ollie under the mistletoe like when they were teenagers.  No, this year she’ll show Ollie that she’s a Responsible Adult too.

But as the champagne corks pop, and the tinsel sparkles, Uncle T has news of his own to share…and it could change Daisy’s life forever…

About the Author

Zara Stoneley is the USA Today bestselling author of ‘The Wedding Date’.

She lives in a Cheshire village with her family, a lively cockapoo called Harry, and a very bossy (and slightly evil) cat called Saffron.

Born in a small village in the UK, Zara wanted to be a female James Herriot, a spy, or an author when she grew up. After many (many) years, and many different jobs, her dream of writing a bestseller came true. She now writes about friendship, dreams, love, and happy ever afters, and hopes that her tales make you laugh a lot, cry a little, and occasionally say ‘ahhh’.

Zara’s bestselling novels include ‘Bridesmaids’, ‘No One Cancels Christmas’, ‘The Wedding Date’, ‘The Holiday Swap’, ‘Summer with the Country Village Vet’, ‘Blackberry Picking at Jasmine Cottage’ and the popular Tippermere series – ‘Stable Mates’, ‘Country Affairs’ and ‘Country Rivals’.

I am a total bookworm who loves nothing more than to lose herself in a book. My pile of books to read is teetering higher and higher as there are not enough hours in the day compared to how many old and new amazing books there are out there to read. I love to read in my spare time and books are a massive part of our household. I feel really lucky that Daisy also loves losing herself in the amazing worlds the authors are creating for us and neither of us ever go very far without having a book to hand as you never know when an opportunity to read may present itself.
